About the Book

Annaleise is a teenager struggling to find herself while suffering the loss of her mother who disappeared without a trace. After a meaningless attack from bully Sheila, Annaleise wakes from unconsciousness to find herself in a different world. This new world holds many secrets including what really happened to Anne’s mother. She encounters talking animals, gnomes and faeries, ferocious beasts, mythical creatures, and she bonds with new friends. Challenge after challenge leads Annaleise and her friends into a grand quest and battle while revealing secrets and testing Anne’s strength. Will she ever see her mother again? Is any of this real, or is it a flight of her imagination?

About the Author

I am an English teacher with a passion for reading and writing. I earned my first degree from the University of Southern Indiana and am working on a second degree from another university. Sharing imagination with the world is something I always aspire to accomplish, and writing is one way to do that. I also love teaching and working with children in hopes to inspire and be inspired. I have a secret love and admiration for animals and nature, which inspires my writing. Writing fiction and fantasy pieces allows me to explore my wildest dreams, and escape the world for a while. I live in Indiana with my wonderful husband, Nathan. I am very close to my family, and could not accomplish all that I do without their love and support.
