About the Book

What is my attitude towards Israel? What prompted me to arrive at such a position? Am I prepared to examine the scriptures and go along with its teaching or do I just follow the crowd? Ray Beattie gently leads us through scriptures and leaves us in no doubt how we, as Christians, should view Israel. This book is an easy read with the author giving some of his personal experiences but mostly it is a challenge to accept or reject the Word of God. In the light of rapidly changing events in Israel and the Middle East this is a must read for every local church.

About the Author

Over recent years I have been privileged to visit Israel many times sometimes with close family but more often as a pilgrimage tour leader. Over this period I have developed a love for that land and also its people. Recognising that the established Church does not view Israel favourably it is time that we look at what scripture has to say on the subject and this is what what I am seeking to do here. As a Christian I have opportunities to teach Jewish history both ancient and modern in schools and churches with its relevance to our beliefs today. Raised in the north of England I have travelled widely in the UK with a career in finance and am now living in Scotland.
