About the Author
Sandra Brown is a retired elementary school teacher and counselor. She now finds herself in her favorite role in life, that of being a grandmother. During a whirlwind trip to the Southern California coast, Sandra and her 9 year old granddaughter Caroline experience a simulated helicopter ride over the Artic and end in up a gift shop. Imaginations run wild and thus the fascinating story of Awesome, the abandoned polar bear. Sandra lives on the coast of North Carolina with her husband Duane and Caroline’s dog Princess.
