THE PERFECT ME I am not the perfect me; I am just me. But I will always go by the label the perfect me. I may have a grade 12 education and some college; But I do not have a degree or a master degree. I don’t write perfectly; I write how it suits me. I can spell, buy not perfectly. I have written 630 poems being me. I like it and I know that you will agree. My functions and relations in sentence structure are not perfect either; But who gives a shit; not me. I do not conform to the rules of the writing world through my speech, my grammar or my evaluation of sentence structure to follow grammatical rules. I throw speech like that out the window because those are not my words I see. Really do any of us need all this grammar? I want you to ask yourself that question honestly. I do not study what to avoid in inflection and syntax; Hell I don’t even know what that means. I just found that in something that I do not always read and that is the dictionary. In some ways I relate and in some ways not, that is just me. That is what I call freedom of fucking speech baby. I think that most would agree that in this aspect you are similar to me.

Freedom of F-----g Speech Baby is the perfect title for this book, for it is what we all want to be. It’s a no holds barred book with words unhidden and unhindered. I am so glad that I live in a country that allows me to have this freedom of speech and that has allowed me to write this book and I am one who is not afraid to use this opportunity to its fullest extent. This is an author who will never shy away from using strong vocabulary. Some of my thoughts and vocabulary that are used in this book may shock you and make you shake your head in disbelief. This book is not for the timid and shy readers. It is graphic and modern, because that is what we have become in 2013; very descriptive and contemporary. So enjoy what this wild natured mind has to offer the writing world. Enjoy the trip of a mind that is not afraid to speak and put her words on paper for everyone to read. This book portrays a woman of confidence that is shown in her writings and she has written some self- help and healing poems that will turn you into the self-assured person that you should be. That is why I chose the title Freedom Of F---ing Speech baby, because I believe that everyone should have that opportunity to write and speak freely because it shows a great sense of confidence. To me there is nothing better for a writer than writing whatever you feel at the time and if it is uncensored it makes its all the better; and having the chance to make a book of these feelings is one of the greatest achievements a person can offer to the world. I thank you for this opportunity.
About the Author
Sherlyn always said that when she turned fifty years old that she was going to publish a book; well here it is baby. Sherlyn has been writing ever since she could remember. She remembers sitting in an empty classroom at school smoking out the window and typing out her poetry. Her love and passion for writing keeps her awake at night and wakes her from sleep only to grab that pen and paper to write things down, she will always give her writing the best. She is very strong, independent and charismatic. She loves to travel and always wanted to go to Jerusalem; so after she publishes this book in Indianapolis that is where she will be going. If she ever gets rich and famous off of this book; she plans on buying a huge cruise ship and inviting all of her friends and family to come and live with her there but they have to buy their own groceries. She has always been great in the arts. She is one of the best writers in this modern day and age. The only thing she can’t do in the arts is play an instrument. But writing has always been her passion and has been since she was a little girl. To go down in history as one of the great writers of all time would be a dream come true for her. She is a free spirited want to be wild child. She does not drink or do drugs which she is totally against but she loves to have fun when the time is right which is most often. She loves God, writing, the sun, her daughter and her granddaughter Blakely. To her those are the four most important things in life.
