Beverly’s description through her poems and her Granddaughter’s illustrations enlighten the contents giving them a very personal touch. Because of this she also feels the child inside herself once again. Jessica’s interest in art at a very young age can also be noted in her experience of her years today. They both live in small adjoining towns in Upstate New York. The following is one fable of several to share with you: AN OWL FRIEND A little owl hooting in the tree Sending messages only down to me. The night so quiet with shadows galore The owl and I friends forever, ever more. On the branch with the moon so bright Shining on me with so very much light. This wise owl does tell his tale of old With stories which he always will unfold. There every night as the darkness beckons Visiting me, his pal, I can always do reckon. As I retire and prepare for sleep to come He watches over me till the morning sun. Secrets he does share as he does confide And promises to always be by my side. Our friendship will last for very sure Together whichever comes our way to endure.

About the Book

Young minds can join in within the realm of telling each story as written from the author to enhance beauty of nature and the love of animals. Beverly’s poems and Jessica’s drawings have a way of entering each child in a very unique and unusual way.
About the Author
Beverly has also a couple of other books to her credit. When, as a child, she loved to play pretend using her imagination to run rampant. She feels the child inside herself once again today. Now in her Golden Years and recently retired, she plans to explore new avenues with a variety of interests in mind. On the top of the list, of course, is her continued writing. She is married to Leo and they have a large family. Jessica is her fourteen year old Granddaughter. They share a very unique creative bond. Jessica’s interest in art at a very young age shows in her drawings today. Both Beverly and Jessica live in small adjoining towns in Upstate New York.
