Once upon a time, deep in the Enchanted Forest, Fairy Godmother readies her classroom for the soon arrival of her students. It was decreed by the King and seconded by the Queen that all fairytale characters must be educated immediately. Ignorance and silliness were running rampant throughout the land and threatening to destroy the very existence of the fairytale world.
Fairy Godmother was writing the daily assignments on the chalkboard when the first students began to arrive.
"Good morning Fairy Godmother," said Snow White, "I brought you a lovely red apple from my stepmother."
"Lovely dear, just put it in the backet with all the other apples your stepmother has sent. I'll eat it for lunch later ,"(NOT!) Fairy Godmother replied.
"Hi ho, hi ho it's off to work we go," could be heard out the window as the dwarves marched off to work.
Next Jack, from the Beanstalk District, arrived with a sly grin on his face and chose a seat by a window. The three pigs filed in 1, 2, 3. The first little pig chose a seat made of wicker; the second chose a seat made from wood, and the last chose a seat and matching desk set made out of matching bricks.
Prince Charming strutted in followed by three giggling princesses. Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Rapunzel were all vying to get the seat next to the prince.
"Girls, girls, girls! My only regret is that I have only two sides to give to my little pretties," gloated the arrogant prince, "Who should I choose today?" he added.
All three princesses tried to squeeze into one chair giving Little Red Riding 'Hood' the opportunity to nab the chair on hes other side. She didn't really like Prince Charming, but loved to hear the silly girls cry and wail. Just then Fairy Godmother had to use her magic wand, Wanda and turn them all into frogs just to put a stop to all the noise they were making. The spell only lasted a few minutes, but gave Fairy Godmother such pleasure to put her magic wand to good use.
"Nice job Wanda!" cooed Fairy Godmother.
"No problem dear," replied Wanda.

About the Book
What if … fairytale characters had to go to school because they were too ignorant and silly? And what if … Fairy Godmother was their teacher? This is not your ordinary school. Fairy Godmother has to frequently use her faithful magic wand, Wanda, to help her with class control. As you can imagine, Prince Charming isn’t so charming, Little Red Riding Hood is a “hood,” and Pinocchio grows enough wood on his nose to supply the woodcarving class with all the wood they need. Come in and enjoy the class as Jack escapes out the classroom window with his magic beans, Sleeping Beauty sleeps the day away, and Frog Prince just wants a kiss from one of the hot princesses!
About the Author
Mrs. Snider taught for thirty-two years before retiring to the fairytale world of leisure living. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University. She was a Nationally Board Certified teacher and was selected as Teacher of the Year for Rosa Parks Elementary School. She was also selected as Tulsa Union Public Schools’ Teacher of the Year and was a finalist for Oklahoma’s Teacher of the Year in 2007.
One of Mrs. Snider’s greatest enjoyments is teaching children to use their imagination and inspiring them to ask, “What if?” … “What if fairytale characters had to go to school?”
Mrs. Snider spends time tutoring students in afterschool programs, sewing children’s clothing, shopping with her daughters-in-law, Laynie and Amanda, working puzzles with her mother-in-law, Dottie, and playing with her grandchildren, Slate Michael, and Dru McClayne.
Mrs. Snider currently lives in Jenks, Oklahoma, where she and her late husband, Gary, raised their three wonderful sons, Beau, Zach, and Luke.
