About the Author
An optimist who is firmly led by the mantra outlined in Ecclesiastes 9:10, “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going” NKJV is La-Toya Arthur-Tucker. She is Guyanese by birth; jovial, friendly, adventurous, outspoken and happy child of God who loves participating in activities that will uplift the downtrodden and bring joy to the broken hearted. La-Toya was awarded a BSc., (Hons) in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from Northern Caribbean University and is currently reading for her MSc. in Counselling Psychology with an emphasis in Education having received a scholarship. As a budding Educational Psychologist, she uses her experiences to show others that success can be achieved by anyone who has determination and a vision. Her personal, practical experience encouraged her to write liberally of her daily motivations; which she has used to empower others to achieve their dreams and goals. Her spiritual background serves as a constant reminder of who she is and where she desires to go. It is no surprise therefore that she is fueled by the promise scripted in Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” La-Toya Arthur-Tucker is a true inspiration.
