"I'm Not a Baby Anymore!" is a story that every parent can relate to as their child begins to express their independence. This story captures the summer events between Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Lester and two grandchildren, cousins Camera and Anthony. In the story they find all sorts of adventures throughout the city of Chicago, but one thing overshadows the entire experience for Anthony - being called a 'baby'. Read what happens and how Anthony and Grandma Ruth find a way to confront their issues and come to an agreement.
About the Author
O. Shelley Kemp is the author of two additional books, “Brown Like You” and “Dancing With Daddy”, previously penned under the name O. Shelley Dunn. These books begin the Kids of Character Series which are designed to initiate conversations between adults and kids about select character traits admired in Christian living. After becoming engaged to her sweetheart in 2012, Shelley was awarded the Women of History Award for Literature and Arts in honor of National Women’s History Month from Victory University. She continues her personal mission to bring people of different cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, genders, races, and age groups together for the betterment of society, understanding, education, and appreciation. She and her husband now live in Tennessee with Shelley’s only son, Anthony.
