ACTING AS YOUR JOB

However you must believe me when I tell you, you can be, do, have anything you dream of and I mean anything. What I want you to understand is that there are three basic things that prevent a person for living out they dream of becoming a working actor and those three things are: 1) The way they think 2) The business aspect of it 3) Their finances Let me explain what I mean by this statement. One, when I talk about the mind or the mindset what I am referring to is what is known as internal dialogue. The things you tell yourself when you’re by yourself or the thoughts in your head, maybe you may want to call it the little voice in your head. I’m too fat, I’m too short, I’m not good looking enough, I’m too dark or I’m too pale white. I don’t know what I’m doing, whatever the case maybe you get my point. It’s really about controlling the way you think and controlling what you should be focused on. We are the ones who create the obstacles they do not exist. We create them and because we create them they become real to us. But if you believe in yourself and believe in what you can create, nothing can stop you. You will move mountains. The second thing that stops a person is the business they have no clue how to be an actor. What it in tales, what steps need to be taken, what education is needed, you don’t even know how to get started. You don’t know these things so they become obstacles. The third thing is the finance, the money. You don’t have the money to support yourself while going to school to become an actor or how will you buy food and pay rent? Where will you find the resources to keep you afloat till you get your big break? You don’t even know, What you don’t know! And let’s not forget all your friend and family members telling you, you’ll never make it, give it up you’re a dreamer. Wake up and smell the coffee. Go get a real job you loser! All these things now feed into the mindset then you start to tell yourself, you see I knew I couldn’t do it. Do not believe any of it, it’s a lie. What I’m going to cover in this book are these three things so that you have the tools, and have a fighting chance. The way I’m going to do this is to address these three things in a step-by-step format. For A total of seven steps, Lucky seven What I’m saying to you is follow these seven steps one by one and apply the principles in this book and by the time you have completed the seventh step you will be an actor. Instead of chapters you and I will be taking steps. My recommendation is to read the entire book the first time around then re-read the book starting with step one. Work your way down applying what you have learned and following each step. Do not skip steps, read the step apply it, and then move on to the next step? Step-by-step you will fulfill your dream of becoming a working actor. It bears repeating: My mission statement is to inspire others to live out their dreams; To be, do, and have anything that brings them joy, love, and happiness. This is my sincere desire for you.
