Quietly, together.

A desire fulfilled.

To look in your eyes
And see delightful pleasure
Reflecting my mood.
Praying together,
Union of words lifted up,
Yearning realized.
“Be equally yoked.”
It has been my heart’s desire
For such a long time.
Lazarus comes forth,
His bindings are taken off.
You are taking mine.
Slowly you unwrap,
Undressing me in new ways,
A coming of age.
Walking hand in hand,
You guide me through your city.
Ah, please guide me more.
Beer, cappuccino,
Over dinner we dream dreams.
Heaven and earth meet.
Hidden passages,
New vistas and views galore,
“Thin” places to share.
A slow moonlight stroll,
A taxi-ride to your home.
Two precious children.
An easy visit
Comfortable on your sofa.
Room aglow with warmth.
You gave me a kiss,
Said, “I love you, Lucy Blount!”
I said, “God bless you.
And I love you, too,
But I must add one more word.
I’m in love with you.”
That speaks volumes more,
A swimming togetherness,
An intermingling.
-Then home to the barn.
Darn, no extra roundabouts.
