The Lord is our Saviour

Heaven is the place from which Jesus came. Before Jesus’ resurrection, He referred to heaven as being the place from which He came and the place where He was going. We need to know that heaven is real, one hundred percent. The reality of heaven is for everyone that believes God exists, and that He is in heaven right now watching over His children, waiting to reconcile with us. Therefore, hell is a second death; hell is the death sentence for the unregenerate person that reject God’s Son, for the one who is filled with pride and self-righteousness, with no regard for the Gospel of grace that Christ has brought. That Gospel is a part of God’s redemptive plan that was set in place before the beginning of the world. Even if this person claims that heaven does not exist, there is no proof to back up that claim. Such a person thinks that heaven is a lie, but the believer knows that his name is in the Lamb’s book of life. Scripture and the Spirit of God testify to his spirit concerning the truth of this. God has revealed to us, through His Word, through His works, through the Holy Spirit of Truth, and through creation and special revelation, that hell is not where we want to go. Heaven is where we all want to go when we die. Every religion has a place of rest that is promoted as man’s afterlife dwelling; heaven is separate from this life; it is the Passover from our mortal life to our eternal life; though we die we live. Our eternal life has been given to us as a gift, and it is for God’s elect, His chosen people; it is for the ones to whom He has revealed Himself; for if He does not reveal Himself to you, you will not believe. Therefore, God has chosen and enabled each and every one of His people to share in the kingdom of heaven; already in eternity past, we were predestined to come to Jesus for refuge. For God is the enabler. Amen
