Scampering happily through the woods, Willy the wolf pup hears a horribile, high-pitched noise shooting through his very sensitive ears. This noise would bring him to his knees (if he had any). With his paws covering his ears, Willy's curiousity takes over and he investigates. He sneaks up close enough to see that the noise is now accompanied by a vision in red that burns his eyes like fire! The vision in red shrieks "Come here little puppy!" Covering both his eyes and ears , Willy loses his balance and tumbles down the hill. He comes to an abrupt halt at the feet of an annoying, ear piercing, bad taste in clothing little girl.

About the Book
The Wolf Who Cried Girl is a role reversal story of Little Red Riding Hood. This story is entertaining, funny and teaches children not to talk to strangers! Little Red is a young, annoying little girl who tricks the poor wolf into joining her by offering him food. The wolf, hungry and scared, is taken by Little Red to her Grandmother's house. Little Red torments the poor wolf until three unsuspecting characters come to the rescue!
About the Author
Midge Leavey is from Long Island, New York. She is the owner of Miss Midgies Preschool since '2000. Her business along with her home reside in West Babylon, NY. She has two boys of her own who are now 19 and 16 years old. However, she recalls the days where her children would ask her to make up a story on the spot. Recalling all the fun she had doing this, she decided to take a Children's Book Writing Class in NYC. The urge to share this book, along with her first book "The Missing Mommy Cure", with her students and families became overwhelming. Now, she enjoys sharing her books with the families of her school and extends the joy to so many more!
