Lila wants a new pet. She goes with her dad to a pet shop to look for a new pet. She is so excited she can't stop thinking about all the animals she will see at the pet shop. Which animal does Lila decide to bring home?

About the Author

Lettie Cohen is inspired everyday by the lives of children she interacts with in her community. She receives great joy when she sees their smiles and hears their laughter. She felt compelled to write stories about children after receiving such great joy from their presence.
