About the Book

This story, Beauty, is based largely on life cycle of a Monarch butterfly,except that the four cycles per year are combined into one cycle. The butterfly in the story is beautiful in it’s appearance, but also possesses the internal beauty to forgive Sparrow for name calling. This book tries to express the true meaning of “beauty”.

About the Author

John Himes is a retired mechanic engineer who started writing poetry after her retired. He had his first children’s book published at the age 80. This is his third book. He started writing children’s stories to pass along the materials the morals that he read as a youngster, but finds missing today.
