Dove Pillow
Supplies
1. yd. if pillow is 18’ or less
White wool felt 12’ sq.
Beacon’s Fabri –Tac glue
Matching thread fabric glue
Pillow form or polyester stuffing
1. Measure pillow and cut piece adding 1’ on all sides for front pillow piece
2. Cut 2 pieces ½ the size of front adding 2’ on each piece for overlap
3. Turn edges of overlap for hem unless using felt
4. Sew pillow pieces together right sides facing
5. Trim corners and turn right side out
6. Cut 2 doves of white felt
7. Glue doves in place using Beacon Fabri-Tac glue
8. Stuff pillow or insert pillow form through overlapped opening in middle back.

About the Author
Yvonne Lord has taught crafts to adults as well as children and served as director of crafts for a summer camp. A former member of the Society of Craft Designers, Yvonne is now widowed and living in Franklinville, New York, where she enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
