About the Author

GLORIA F. JACKSON, the comedian, deejay, community activist, writer, mentor and mother of six was determined and persistent to make it through her impoverished conditions, even being handicapped didn't stop her. she has overcome personal obstacles to become a role model and mentor too many. On March 31st 2006 my mother Gloria suffered a severe brain stroke that almost claimed her life, but when the doctor's walked that's when yahweh stepped in. On December 20th, 2009 Mayor Bill Gluba of Davenport, la honored her with the "Leading by Example Award" for her years of reaching out to underprivileged people. Her favorite quotation is "Many are called, Few are chosen". She is truly a chosen vessel handpicked by the Almighty, who has guided her life and hands to write an inspirational and motivational story for all people, expecially woman.
