My Darling Dogs--Serafina, An Italian Bolognese Serafina and Molly "Serafina! Come here, Serafina!" Serafina was exploring. She looked under the couch. She looked behind the chair. She sniffed by the book case. She ran to the kitchen as fast as she could. "Serafina, Serafina! Come here, you little Serafina!" When Serafina heard Molly say her name two times together, she thought, "Whoa! I better go see what's going on!" She ran back to Molly as fast as she could. Molly sat on the porch in a rocking chair, rocking back and forth, enjoying the sunshine. Serafina LOVED Molly! And Molly loved Serafina, her Bolognese baby puppy! She loved her soft, white, curly ringlets and black button nose. She loved her twisty tail that she wiggled and waggled like a plumy, fluffy feather. Serafina jumped up onto Molly's lap and gazed into her eyes. Molly hugged Serafina. Serafina curled tightly against Molly and smiled inside. Serafina loved her new home too. There were all kinds of hiding places here, all kinds of yummy treats, nice soft green grass to play in, and best of all--she slept right beside Molly every single night! She slept in her crate--there was a soft, fuzzy bed in there and a toy she loved to chew on when she wanted to. It was a great hiding place and she would go in there to play and take a nap sometimes in the daytime after she played hard with Molly. And at night, when Molly went to sleep, Serafina went to sleep too. Molly said, "Serafina, you are the best puppy in the whole world and the prettiest! Will you be my best puppy friend forever?" Serafina looked at Molly, snuggled down into her arms, and thought happily, "Yes, I'll be your very best friend forever." This time Molly smiled inside. She squeezed Serafina gently and they sat and rocked together in the sunshine.
