About the Book

Timkin is a young boy who goes to school for the first time and not only learns his ABC's but discovers that he is very different from other children. He learns to live with his difference and keeps it to himself until he and his friends get into a troublesome situation which calls for some ingenuity on his part even if it means giving away his secret.
