About the Book

When two very different kinds of people meet in a random, yet unforgettable day, they don’t even know what’s ahead of them. She, a gorgeous teacher, invites herself to what he, a passionate musician, explains as “his spot in the beach”. After a few visits to where he plays his guitar under the stars, every day at eight o’ clock, in a specific spot in the beach, they start falling in love. When he is about to propose, one of the happiest moments of their lives turns into a moment full of tears. Will this stop him from marrying her or is the love they have too strong for him to back out now? When a very difficult decision strikes him out of nowhere, we get to experience how far true love can really take us.

About the Author

LJR Alonso is a young college student who has a passion for music and books. Since he was in high-school he has written a few short stories, poems, among other things. He enjoys reading all kinds of books, but the kind he likes the most are love stories. His favorite author is Nicholas Sparks, the writer of best-selling books. Some of them have been made into major-production films such as "A walk to remember", "The Notebook", "The Lucky One", among a few others. Nicholas Sparks is the author from which LJR Alonso found the most inspiration to write and publish his own novel. After having read a lot of love stories, one day LJR Alonso decided to write a story himself. He didn't know if he had the ability to make people feel the way all those other books made him feel when he read them, but that was a risk he was willing to take. His biggest wish is for people to remember and care about the characters on his book the same way he cares about all those characters on all those books he has read. LJR Alonso is from Puerto Rico, a beautiful small island in the Caribbean. His goal is to be a successful lawyer one day but without leaving his writing or music behind. For him, music and books are the best therapy there is. He hopes that his words can serve as therapy for someone out there, even if it's only one person, that would be enough.
