About the Book
“Flurry the Family Plant” is based on true events that took place in the lives of my two sons and I while they were growing up. I bought a small plant for my boys and once the plant got home and settled, Flurry took on a life of its own when it became a part of our family.
About the Author
Donna’s lifelong love of art led her to pursue a college education that culminated in her writing and designing her first book at the age 57. The journey - towards her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Magna Cum Laude – took nine years to complete during which time she raised two sons “single-handedly” and worked full time. Today, both of Donna’s sons have successful careers and families of their own. Her boys and their plant served as the inspiration for Donna’s book “Flurry the Family Plant.”
