SHELBY: (to Jay) Why did you have to be so rude to her? JAY: (ignores Shelby) You’re dead, you bastard. SHELBY: So, what’s new, Dylan? DYLAN: Nothing exciting. Just the same old shit. SHELBY: (smiles) Just a bigger pile, right? SHELBY and DYLAN: (both laugh) DYLAN: No, I did recently talk to – JAY: (to his phone) Fuck you! You bastards are dead. How can you possibly have the ability to run? SHELBY: What are you playing anyway? JAY: (looks up) Zombie Apocalypse. (looks down at his phone) It’s pretty fucking epic. When it’s not acting like a – bitch! Enter Julia JULIA: (carrying the drinks) Alright. I have a coke, root beer, and a mountain dew. (distributes drinks) Let me know if need anything else. SHELBY: We will. (sips drink) Exit Julia JAY: (doesn’t look up) Man, that bitch pops out of nowhere, doesn’t she? SHELBY: (to Jay) Can’t we just enjoy a nice lunch? JAY: Don’t let me stop you. SHELBY: (to Dylan) You were saying Dylan? DYLAN: Oh, I recently spoke – JAY: (looks up) To his therapist. (to Shelby) It turns out that Dylan does in fact want to bed you. SHELBY: Stop acting like an ass. DYLAN: Fuck you, Jay. JAY: Some other time perhaps. (looks down) Shit! I died again. (looks up) Are you two happy now? SHELBY: (as a matter of fact) It’s your own damn fault. JAY: (looks down) That’s a damn lie.
