About the Book

Growing up the youngest of three children, Belinda faced all types of horrors and abuse at the hands of people who claimed it was all done “in the name of love.”

About the Author

Beverly McLean is a survivor of child abuse and domestic abuse and knows the questions and pain that victims carry throughout their lives. She has raised three children, primarily alone, and they have turned into wonderful, well-balanced adults. She lives in Vermont, which is both beautiful and lacking, where she has had a chance to rediscover herself. In the past few years, she has been in a relationship that fills her with a sense of happiness and safety.
