About the Book
Most of us have wondered, sometime during our lifetime, about when Adam and Eve were really “expelled from paradise” in the Garden of Eden. Can we find a verifiable and replicable answer to this question? Most of us have questioned, sometime during our lifetime, the “accepted” sequential biblical timeline of Archbishop James Ussher who claimed that 4004 BC was the actual date for that initial biblical event in our current holy scriptures. Was he right? Most of us have questioned, sometime in our lifetime, how the Hebrew’s “accepted” claim that 3761 BC could be the actual date for Adam’s “expulsion.” Were they right? Can we find a way to reconstruct the complete Hebrew Bible timeline, from Adam’s “expulsion” from paradise to our day? Is this possible? Who believes that it can be done? Well, it has been done! Here, is how it is done! To reconstruct the Hebrew Bible timeline, we need to know only the simple math formula that they used! The employment of this simple formula shall enable us to rebuild that same sequential biblical timeline, block by block, in the exact same fashion that the Jewish people “use from the beginning,” at Adam’s “expulsion” from paradise, in the Garden of Eden. The formula used in reconstructing an “actual count” of the Hebrew Bible is found below: 7 × 7 = 49 × 10 = 490 × 10 = 4,900 solar years 7 × 7 = 49 + 1 = 50 × 10 = 500 × 10 = 5,000 lunar years Since both of these 49 solar, and 50 lunar, periods of time contain 18,200 days (approx), we can then “post the number” of any given sequential biblical event in its designated year position on a side-by-side comparison chart. If we “post the number” in this fashion, it will show us exactly when and where, on the timeline chart, there is an error in the sequential computations of any sequential biblical event that is propounded by any biblical chronologist, past or present! In this present book, we find that the Ussher biblical timeline is 112 years “too early.” And the Hebrew biblical timeline of Codex Judaica is 131 years “too late.” Obviously, 3892 BC is the only “year number” that can work for a verifiable timeline! This book, The Holy Bible “Chronicle” of Sequential Biblical Events, by Robert P. Killian, is the fruit of over seventy-year search for that verifiable and replicable answer to the long-sought question: “Can the Ussher biblical timeline be trusted?”
About the Author
This author, Robert P. Killian, was born “a twin” with his brother Richard P. Killian, in Santa Monica, California, on “Flag-Day” 14th June in 1932. They were born to proud parents, Sylvester Paul Killian and Sophie Ellen Espy, the prospering proprietors of “The Palisade Glass & Mirror Shop. The twins’ birth was noted in a local newspaper as: “The first set of twins born in the Santa Monica Hospital”. The Killian family, which also included an older sister, Pauline Ann Killian, was soon struck a cruel blow upon the death of their mother Sophie just two weeks short of “the twins” 5th birthday in 1937. It was this family catastrophe that brought to this author the impact of the inevitability of the mortality of man and sparked a constant state of curiosity that has served him well for over 80 years. The three young children were sent to live with their paternal aunt Charlotte and her husband Charles Milde, in the small Mojave desert-community of Pearblossom, California. It was there, in the great wide expanse of the open high-desert, that “the twins” and their sister, were raised for the next two years of their lives. The Mojave was a Paradise! On “the twins” 7th birthday in 1939 their father Sylvester married Mary Lucille Bishop of Montgomery City, MO, in the Episcopal Church of “Saint Augustine by the Sea” in Santa Monica where “the twins” had been baptized soon after birth. Sylvester struggled with keeping the family and his business running smoothly through the dark year of WWII. The children attended public schools in Santa Monica during that war. Life at the primary public schools, McKinley and Lincoln, was not as open and free as they were in, “The Mojave years”. Twice during the war years of 1941-1945 Sylvester went on fishing vacations into the Rogue River Valley of Southern Oregon. He often sent “the twins” postal cards of the popular fishing sites on “The Rogue”. Sylvester, dearly loved fishing! This author still reflects, often, on these fond fishing-trip memories and souvenirs. In the spring of 1945 Sylvester and Mary sold “The Palisades Glass Shop”, which had been their business for 25 years, at 111 Broadway in Santa Monica and moved the family to Grants Pass, Oregon. It was there, in that small farm community, that the Killian family lived their lives for the next 5 years, on a 33 acre plot of dry-land, just three miles from town in the Jones Creek Community until the children left home at completion of their primary education Polly, ‘the twins” older sister, married early and left to live with her new husband in Medford, a quick-expanding town of mainly orchards and timber products of that booming post-war era. “The twins”, both of them, joined the U. S. Navy Reserve while still in high school at Grants Pass High School. They graduated with the “Class-of-50” in June of that year. Both boys had begun to play the violin at age 7. Their teacher was an amateur astronomer who would bring his telescope to the Killian home so that an early interest in earth, sky, stars and sun were well integrated in the teaching at home. “The Twins”, both of them, volunteered for U. S. Navy active-service for the Korean Conflict in September of 1951. Both of them had worked in the saw-mill industry since graduating high-school in 1950. It was at that time that “The twins” parted company in a very real way! On the night before they were to travel to Portland, Oregon for physical tests and U. S. Navy indoctrination, Dick was involved in a motorcycle accident that prohibited him from entering the U. S. Navy until one week later than Bob.
