A lot of these fruits and vegetables are good for ailments and medicine. Fun information that I had fun putting together, and also, learned alot from gathering it all.

About the Book
I was inspired to write this book when I realized there were so many children that didn’t know the difference between a fruit and a vegetable. I thought this would help educate them in a fun way with lots of information. Fruit or Vegetable / How they Grow / Where they Grow How they are Eaten / Nutritional Information It is my hope, when children, parents, grandparents and/or caregivers read this, it will be a fun-fact-filled experience for them and they will be more educated by: READING THIS BOOK!!!!!! About the Author
I am from Council Bluffs, IA, I have 2 children; 22 and 8, and have been doing 24/7 day care in my home for a little over 14 years. My life is all about the children; teaching as well as playing with them. I went to a food program class, sponsored by our local extension office, and received some free stuff that pertained to fruits and vegetables. I played bingo games with food pictures, read food books, and played with the beanie characters that were fruits and vegetables. I was surprised when the older children, 6-10 did not know that a potato was a vegetable, etc... So I thought I would write this book to help educate children and adults on 5 fun facts for each letter of the alphabet. I included: FRUIT/VEGETABLE-HOW THEY GROW-WHERE THEY GROW-HOW TO EAT-NUTRITION FACTS It is my hope that it will be fun for the little ones to learn from and adults as well!
