ABOUT THE AUTHOR: MARY JO MCINTYRE Having taught elementary school for 27 years, I always loved reading poetry to the children that I taught. So after retiring, I decided to write my own children’s book with poetry! I hope children who read my book will enjoy the poetry as much as I do! ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR: Scooter Ray Ever since I was a small child, I have always enjoyed art. My art passions range from sketching, hand painted jackets, mural painting, makeovers, designing clothing pieces, to illustrating a children’s book. I thoroughly enjoy taking a blank canvas and bringing it to life!
