About the Author

I was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts which I still reside with my lovable feline Mcgraw. I have been teaching early childhood education for fourteen years, and I am pursuing an associate degree in this field. I wanted a way to show and teach young preschoolers about the Rainforest. That is how I came up with Stanley the snake. I wanted to make it fun and educational. I not only wrote the book, but have also created a game and designed Stanley the puppet to encourage learning. I have used Stanley in my classroom, and the children just love him.
