About the Author

A literary enthusiasts, Phillip James a.k.a. Legand, has shown interest in writing since he was a freshman in high school. Starting off like most emotional youth with short stories, Legand quickly developed his style of descriptive visualization. Influnced by life and the vibrations of it's past such as; Hip-Hop Culture, the sonnets of Shakespeare's and the undeniable talent of Saul Williams. Poetry has become a second language for his expression. Currently living in Kansas City, MO working as a chef. Working as a chef allows him to observe and interact with many types of people which provides him with substance for his spoken words.
