About the Author
Robert D. Liles was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, and grew up with five sisters and one brother. He joined the United States Navy when he was eighteen and served as a US naval aircrewman onboard the P3 Orion. While in the navy, he received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Hawaii Pacific University. He currently resides in Oahu, Hawaii.
