Tad stopped for a moment once he was outside, how wonderful the air smelled and oh the warmth of the sunshine on his shell. The first stop of the day for Tad was Mother Turtle’s flower garden. Surely he would find Lila here, she was the most beautiful butterfly he had ever seen. Lila lived among Mother Turtle’s most beautiful flowers, and she was one of Tad’s best friends. LILA! LILA! Where are you? My goodness, I am right here Tad, she answered as she yawned and stretched her glorious wings. What is all the excitement about, she asked. I am going on an adventure today to see if I can find others that are different like we are, will you please come with me? Oh please say you will come! There! There! Tad of course I will come, I love adventures.

About the Book
Tad and his friends embark on an adventure to find new friends who are different and unique like they are. Tad and his friends soon learn that everyone is different in their own way, but very special just the same. Tad wants all his friends to know that being different is what sets us apart and we should never be ashamed of who we are.
About the Author
She is a married mother of five and has two granddaughters. She has a degree in Psychology and enjoys working with children. Her passion for writing inspired her to begin writing children’s books. She lives in South Carolina.
