About the Book

“Silent Reflections” is a compilation of poems that I’ve written over time. It is a look back at various stages of my life and gives some examples of the challenges that I have faced and overcome. This book was designed to give you a brief history of each piece on one page and then the actual poem on the following page. I wrote the book in that format in order to give the reader an idea of what inspired me to write each piece. This was a unique concept that I came up with a few years ago. I used to read a lot and I always wondered what inspired some of the great writers of all time to put pen to paper. Feel free to use your imagination, the liner notes are only there as a guideline. During this journey you will experience joy, laughter, flirtation, and a deep thought or two. Please enter “Silent Reflections” with an open mind and LOVING heart.

About the Author

LaMon Wade is a freelance writer and poet. He wrote his first poem entitled “What is LOVE” in 1983. This poem was to a potential girlfriend and had moderate success. Since then LaMon has expanded his writing to novels. LaMon was published in the Library of Congress in 2011. His latest project is a compilation of poetry and motivational stories. LaMon has always had a different view of the world and that view has led to his sense of humor, his positive outlook on life, as well as some great story telling. Although LaMon has been involved in several creative endeavors, the one that has been his true passion has been his writing.
