About the Book

Flt Lt Geoff Samson, an RAF fighter pilot who had survived many dog fights during the Battle of Britain in 1940,has to bail out over Dunkirk where his efforts to reach safety are hampered by a German patrol.  His future life revolves round a catalogue of incidents that add to the flavour of the plot, full of intrigue and romance.  A cleverly written story between love and loss amidst the back drop of the Second World War.  A must for all enthusiasts of life during wartime who have a passion for adventure and subterfuge.

About the Author

John Jochimsen, now retired, was a photo-journalist who had assignments all over the world in the 60's and 70's.  With the arrival of instant television reporting, the need for picture features diminished and so John turned to advertising and public relation photography. Working for most of the larger companies of the time, together with the Armed Services and other Government Departments, he finished working, just after his dear wife died. Later he carried on writing with this being his first novel.
