On the moon many years ago, lived ten toads. The ten toads loved living on the moon because their favourite thing to eat was cheese, and as you know, the moon is made out of cheese. One day, a tubby toad named Tom saw a mountain he’d never seen before. “I bet the cheese over there is lovely,” he thought and pulled his blue chef’s hat firmly down on top of his head. And off he hopped to eat the cheese. He reached the bottom of the mountain and there he saw the biggest cheese tree he’d ever seen. “Mmm, the branches look lovely,” he said, patting his tubby belly. He climbed up and up, higher and higher, until finally he’d reached the very top of the cheese tree. He started eating the branches, and all the cheese leaves, and even the tree trunk itself. Afterwards, the greedy little toad had eaten so much his belly had grown three sizes bigger and he couldn’t move. He tried walking down the mountain but instead he started rolling down. He rolled so fast that when he reached the bottom he flew into the air and fell right off the moon.

About the Author
Presently Sarah is working side by side with her agent and she is busy writing children’s movie script which means taking a break from her own book projects for a while. Being a mother of three, all under the age of 5, Sarah juggles her passion for writing and her home life by combining the two elements. Inspired by her children’s imagination she takes her inspiration from activities and creative fun they have together. Born in 1984 as a ‘Hodgson’ (and a Scottish McDougall!), she has been writing since she was 6 years old. Not surprising she was bit by the writing bug early as she comes from a long line of authors and writers, her mother Julie Hodgson, to name one. To this date she has written 21 books/scripts and over the past 12 years Sarah has been meticulously cataloguing and perfecting each story. Her mission: To keep imagination alive, to get children reading and enjoying the written word. Also to help get her messages of kindness, hope, friendship and maybe a little comedy to every child she meets. Her adult and self help books are part of her growing interest in the world of adult literature and expanding, perfecting, and improving her knowledge as a writer.
