About the Book

Evie is decidedly opposed to manners. That is, until Percy Pignolian moves in the next door. His freakish appearances with disapproving stares and moist towels cause Evie to have a change in behavior… not to mention a change in clothes! This story teaches a lesson, a moral-ish lesson, in an amusing and quickly way. And, as if that weren’t enough, this book is chocked full of colorful illustrations and terrific vocabulary to encourage young readers to understand and use big words…because big words are awesome!

About the Author

Author Caren Wittkop has been in the field of education for over a decade and has recently earned her M.S. in education with an emphasis in reading. She has three children of her own who keep her entertained and inspired everyday. Illustrator Kassandra Carey is an artist in Laguna Beach, California. Her artwork had been featured in several local art shows. She recently held her own show entitled, “Spotless Chaos”.
