About the Book

As a Christian, I learned at an early age the importance of God in my life. Over the years, I have been mocked and scorned because of my faith, yet I have never doubted my faith in God and the Lord Jesus Christ. I worked, for many years, as a hill shepherd in the beautiful Lake District in Cumbria and fully appreciated the beauty of God’s creation. The chapters of this book contain poems that reflect part of my life, and I hope and pray they help you in your daily walk with Jesus.

About the Author

I was born in 1947 into a Christian family. I have been an itinerant preacher, and my wife and I have worked as missionaries in eastern Europe. I started writing poetry seven years ago, inspired by God’s beautiful countryside and my own experiences. I live in a village in Co Durham.
