About the Book

Tabatha Johnson has always been very active in the community of Camdenhill. She has just begun her freshman year at Alexander T. Camden High and as soon as she questions how quality her high school life will be, she makes great friends and has great adventures. Tabatha, the aspiring poet-student who could always be found in ‘the Park’ under the magnolia tree while writing in her journal, experiences friendship, a little bit of romance, and a dash of mystery as she rises in social status.

About the Author

Sasha Dofflemeyer is an avid enthusiast of education and has degrees, certifications, or taken continuing education courses in the Marine Sciences, Environmental Science, Education Science, Insurance Underwriting, Nutrition, and Public Health. She is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and has other academic, professional, and community service accolades as well. Sasha has always enjoyed adventure; speed skating, figure skating, mountain climbing, mountain biking, hiking, trail running, and kayaking are her second nature. Feeling the call of the literary arts, she began writing a novel. Upon adding her loves together, a series about education and adventure as a teenager, entitled “Tabatha’s Tales” was born. This novel is largely inspired by Sasha’s tutoring experience, when she worked with students too ill or injured to attend regular school. Writing is not Sasha’s only artistic endeavor. She also enjoys volunteering as a costume designer for children’s plays and at her local theater. She cannot wait to unveil the many stories she has to tell as they metamorphosize. Sasha is currently employed as an insurance broker and resides in a cottage in the mountains of Charlottesville, Virginia with her dog, Cowboy. She hopes her novels reach many people, especially those in elementary and middle school, and bring them into the wonderful world of safe adventure.
