The book was written while the author was in Her Majesty’s custody at the Winson Green prison in Birmingham (England). The book consists of a defifiant collection of poems related to Love, Pain, Desperation and Hope.
About the Author
Amankou Ndoli was born on the 16th of May 1967, in a small town of the Ivory Coast called Grand Bassam. He grew up in a poor ghetto in the city. His mother, a primary school teacher, has eight children—all raised by herself as a single mother. After completing his primary school at EPP Congo, he studied at the Lycee Mixte in Yamoussoukro (Ivory Coast). He completed his university degree at the National University of the Ivory Coast, achieving a university diploma in literacy (DUEL 1 followed by a DUEL 2), then a license in literacy. In the 1990, while at the university, he joined the Ivory Coast Federation of Students (Fesci), which later triggered his exile to the United Kingdom. Mr. Andre Ndoli is a father of two well-loved boys.
