Disappearance

The woman of his dreams lay next to him in the comfortable home they had lived in since his father had passed away twenty years earlier, she had the most stunning eyes of bluish green that you ever saw when they were blue you felt as though you were staring directly into the sparkling blue ocean, and when they were green you could just as easily lose yourself in them, not to mention she had the perfect length of blonde hair that glistened whenever the sun hit it. They had been married for an amazing forty years yet they had been together for nearly fifty. With each year somehow some way this woman seemed to get more beautiful, it was as if she didn’t age at all. He slowly pulled off the sheets on his side, she rolled onto her side yet she didn’t wake up, and he looked over at her gorgeous eyes before he got out of bed. It was seven am on a blustery day it was the end of autumn, the wintertime was not that long away he grabbed his cup of coffee that he had poured into his thermos and headed out in his beat up Chevrolet pick up, he felt as though he had owned this pick up as long as he had been married.
