About the Book

Born in December in a small cottage of Foreverland in Sydney the story of Rolland, nicknamed “DDH” who rose above odds and bullies to clinch a name in world history as “The Last Hero of Foreverland” ends up in the books of Peragon, the guardian of all great stories. To Peragon, the great dragon, the noble story of Rolland brought him strength. To Zuzu, the story made him a part of history, but for Rolland Forever has happened in Foreverland. The book is narrated by Zuzu Juanabelle, the gold puppy after Peragon’s death.


About the Author

Benjamin Lartey was the co-founder of the first African club on his college campus and served as a teaching assistant in Spanish and Accounting for one year. In High School, Ben was elected Vice- President of student government and served as an executive member of Students Representative Council for three years. Ben became his school's first history and current Affairs club President in 2006 and was appointed president of a campus Church in 2007. In September of 2008, Ben was awarded a scholarship to study in Cuba. Ben was born in the western part of Africa. His memory of his first and only birthday celebration was at the age of three, with his great grand mother. In middle school, Ben was given many names because he was skinny. Ben had to adjust switching schools because his parents could not take care of him and his brothers, and amidst this torture, he had to fight his way through bullies at school trying to take his lunch money or food. Experiencing a broken family at a very early age, Ben did not have much parental affection for a long time, and ended up been raised often by his great grand mother who passed away during his graduation week in high school. Now, a multilingual, fluent in nine languages, including Spanish, Ben works as a volunteer in the Mexican Consulate of Philadelphia, PA as an assistant to the Executive Director of the Mexican Cultural Center. Ben is also the author of several books including "The Inspirational Book of Hope" Ben now lives in Elkins Park Pennsylvania, and as a victim to bully, this is Ben's first children's book to the children of the world.
