Terry ran over to his cookie jar and lifted up the lid, only to find it empty.
“Oh no! The cookie jar is empty!“ said Terry, who had put his whole snout into the jar looking for any cookie crumbs he could find.
“All I wanted was a cookie”, said Terry angriliy.
“And one made with honey”, added Skippy.
“How are we ever going to find big, yummy, gooey, cookies made with honey?” asked Terry sadly.
Terry, Sammy and Skippy stared out the window very quietly again, daydreaming about cookies.
All of a sudden a smile slowly came across Skippy’s face.

Helen Dogiakis is the author of the Captain Terry the Pirate Cow's Adventure series. She lives in New York with her husband, two children, and dog Bailey. She obtained her BS in Nutrition at the University of Massachusetts and her MPA at Long Island University.
