About the Author

Sister Cecile Marie Kees, a member of the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes, obtained her Masters Degree in elementary education from St. Francis College in Fort Wayne, Indiana, her Maters Degree in Religious Education from St. Thomas University in Houston, Texas. She is the author of three Parents/Child Share Books published by Our Sunday Visitor Publishing Company in Huntington, Indiana. Kees has found fulfillment in guiding parents and teachers to develop interaction with children by reading to them and eliciting thought provoking questions and responses. Kees continues writing at her Agnesian Retirement Home and enjoys ministering to the sick, creative activities such as crafts and silent reflection.
