My sister and I have been struggling with this concept most of our lives. Well I should say, she already knew the game and was explaining it to me, so I'll share a bit of her knowledge with all of you. The all weather man is simply the man who is around all year. As I began this project, I really did start when the seasons were changing. While the seasons have changed from cold to hot, here come all the men from my past, rearing their heads and wanting to re-connect. I started thinking to myself, where in the hell have you men been all damn winter. My sister in her infinite wisdom in this area explained to me that this is what they do. This book is a collection of my life experiences of dating after a divorce, going through a divorce and details advice on how to survive and start over.
About the Author
Born and raised in Kansas City MO, to the parents of Brenda and Curtis Jones, Sr., and raised by Robert and Brenda Sylvan. Lived in the urban core of Kansas City and attended school in the Center school district. Graduated from Center Senior High School in 1997, then attended Fisk University in Nashville Tennessee and graduated Magnum Cum Laude in 2001. Joined the dynamic sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha in 1999, and learned so many life lessons while in Nashville. I returned to Kansas City after a job offer in the telecommunications industry, which I have worked for 12 years. I'm currently working as an adjunct professor in the business department at a local university. I served as the only African American Woman as a board member of CRN. I am the youngest of 3 siblings, Maya Greer (Marcus) of Kansas City and Curtis Jones Jr. (Lisa Jones), of Grand Prairie Texas. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, exercising and being a mom.
