Once upon a time, there was a very bored cow. The cow found a book of nursery rhymes. She began to read. “Hey diddle diddle, the cat and the fiddle, the COW jumped over the MOON!” The cow started to wonder. “How did the cow in the story jump over the moon?” Then the cow had a great idea! “I’ll ask a cat for some advice,” she said. The curious cow came upon an orange farm cat. She asked him, “Mr. Cat, have you ever read the story about the cat and the fiddle, and the cow that jumped over the moon?” “Sure, I’ve read that story,” the cat replied. “Could you tell me? How in the world did the cow jump over the moon?” asked the cow. The sly cat thought to himself, “I’m so bored. I think I will have some fun with this silly cow.”

This book was written and illustrated by two young boys about a very bored cow that discovers that you can do anything with a little imagination and a LOT of Determination!

About the author:
Tristan was born in Port Charlotte, Florida in February of 1998. He enjoys playing basketball, football, and video games. When he grows up, he wants to be a video game designer.
About the illustrator:
Anthony was born in November of 1999 in Great Lakes Illinois, when his Dad was stationed there in the Navy. Anthony enjoys building models and painting them, and taking classes at the North Port Art Center. When he grows up, he wants to be a professional artist.
Tristan and Anthony Elkhatib are brothers living in North Port, Florida with their Dad, Mom, their brother and sister, and their dog Louie. The brothers collaborated on this book when they were ten and twelve years old. They saved their money for two years from their chores and from birthday money to get this book published. Anthony is now twelve, and Tristan is fourteen. They hope you enjoy this book. They are currently working on a sequel about their favorite cow.
