NIBBLES the hamster, was tapping his cage not sleepy at all, he wanted to play. He saw that his door was left open somehow and thought. “I’ll escape and be free for a while.” Out of his cage to the table, then floor; he was off to adventure, excitement and more! NIBBLES scurrying sounds woke up PURR the cat. She leaped from her chair and thought, “What is that?” PURR looked in each corner and behind every door. She down to rest and listened some more. The clock in the corner struck 2 and then 3. For more than an hour NIBBLES ran free.

About the Book
NIBBLES is a curious little hamster, who escapes open night from his cage. Adventure excitement and more comes his way as he has to LOOK OUT, for PURR the cat. PURR hears NIBBLES scurrying sounds and starts prowling around. Where will NIBBLES curious nose take him? NIBBLES is lost! NIBBLES is scared! Can he find HEATHER his friend, to help him get safely back to his cage? Loveable NIBBLES, quickly learns how friends are needed, and it’s good to be safe at home. NIBBLES NIGHTTIME ADVENTURE, is based on an actual experience that happened, when Heather was a young child and had a pet hamster. The books characters are so loveable and fun, they will quickly become friends to any young reader.
About the Author
MJ Hinnerichs has devoted her life, Inspiring children’s’ joys’ and imaginations’ through reading. A Daycare provider and Sunday school teacher background, paved the way for writing short stories and poems. “I encourage reading to and with children. It is a good way to increase their communication and creative skills I have experienced firsthand emotional bonds when sharing stories together.” Nibbles Nighttime Adventure is MJ Hinnerichs first published work. Her daughter, heather and Nibbles her hamster, were the inspiration for this story. MJ Hinnerichs lives with her husband in Illinois. She has four grown children and four grandchildren. Her hope is to continue writing, and bring smiles to children for years to come.
