WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER War is not the answer, all it brings is hunger. Death becomes the founder, bodies go deep down under. Sadness falls on every face, loneliness in the mirror when you gaze. Families turn to zeros, tears fill every pillow. Sinners rejoice happily, holy ones bow down sadly. Prayer is all there is, hoping for the end of this blitz. Nothing has ever been solved by war, all it has done is deepened the core. A place that should be alight with smiles, turning into a mysterious aisle.

About the Author
Thomas Boa-Amponsem is an Information and Technology consultant who has lived in Europe, Africa and America where most of his poetic experience comes from. He started writing poetry at the age of sixteen for friends who wanted to send them in letters and empty cards. He has a son and a daughter who live in Ghana.
