About the Book
Fresh Air is a fresh wind to propel you successfully through the shifting seasons in one’s life. It is fresh fire for the heart that so often grows cold due to the pain staking realities of death. I salute Pastor M.E. Lyons, I, for keeping it fresh Pastor Darron Lamont Edwards, Sr. United Believers Community Church ~ Kansas City, MO ________________________________________________________________________________________________ “When I first read the poetry composed by Pastor M.E. Lyons, I felt that it was very inspirationally driven for that specific time and occasion. The poetry itself allows the surviving family members to reflect on the memories of their loved ones as they continue life. These poems are the breath from God blowing through Pastor Lyons as an instrument to comfort the bereaved.” Pastor M. Clay Price True Vine Bible Believing Church ~ Campbell, TX ________________________________________________________________________________________________ “Enlightenment is intimacy with all things.” Fresh Air is a book filled with Pastor M.E. Lyons’ appreciation for tears, the art of shedding, friendship, the broken heart, pain, patience and all the connections that link us together with each other.” Councilman Robert Shankle Lufkin, TX ________________________________________________________________________________________________ "Fresh Air" is uniquely refreshing in providing words of divine inspiration and dignity for a point in Life that all families must face and endure with their love ones. Thank and praise the Lord Jesus Christ for the divine wisdom he has bestowed on Pastor M.E. Lyons. About the Author
I feel as though when death invades our ranks and removes form our midst loved ones it causes a void that no matter who we are or where we are in life leaves an indelible mark and in-explainable feeling. Through the deposit the Lord has placed in me I feel as if this book will display through poetic form the blessing of the times one has spent with their loved ones, be it through personal experiences, a word or phrase they used, or even in the way they walked or acted. I felt connected with a great deal of these persons highlighted in this book and it is a privilege and signal honor to remember them by sharing their stories with those who read this expression of memoirs and reflections.
