We’re going to miss you in this land of woes, But you’re going to a place where there is a plenty of no mo’s. Thank God above for showing us how to die, It’s howdy; howdy there and no more goodbye’s. Take your rest, go ahead and sing, For where you’re going you’ll see the King of Kings. When life has become a hurtful sore And it feels as if you can take no more Take Your Rest. When heartaches and pain seem more than you can bear, And it seems from time to time that no one cares. Take Your Rest. Even though we cry: God knows best, Rolinda you will be missed, go ahead just, Take Your Rest.

About the Author
I feel as though when death invades our ranks and removes form our midst loved ones it causes a void that no matter who we are or where we are in life leaves an indelible mark and in-explainable feeling. Through the deposit the Lord has placed in me I feel as if this book will display through poetic form the blessing of the times one has spent with their loved ones, be it through personal experiences, a word or phrase they used, or even in the way they walked or acted. I felt connected with a great deal of these persons highlighted in this book and it is a privilege and signal honor to remember them by sharing their stories with those who read this expression of memoirs and reflections. Pastor M.E. Lyons, I lives in the piney woods of East Texas in the city of Henderson, Texas. He is married to the former LaTish Luckey, and they have three beautiful children: Deja Z. Lyons, Myron E. Lyons, II, and Jeremiah M.E. Lyons. He loves to read, write and study the Word of God. He has attended Dallas Institute of Funeral Services, D. Edwin Johnson Baptist Seminary, currently seeking Masters in Psychology at Kaplan University, and has attended Oxford University in London England with Post Graduate Studies in Homiletics, Hermeneutics, with emphasis on examination of scripture.
