Kobe is a little boy who wakes up one morning excited about his visit to the zoo. Turns out his mommy is not feeling well that day and needs rest. She also tells him that a zebra has wandered away from the zoo that morning and has not returned. She says it would be better to wait until she feels better and for the zebra to return before they go on their zoo visit. Kobe is very sad and disappointed. His mommy falls asleep – and the zebra shows up at their front door! Kobe rescues him by showing him the way back to the zoo. As a reward Kobe experiences an unimaginable adventure.

About the Author
Kathy Douglas-Hobbs studied at Florida Community College of Jacksonville and Lisa Maile School of Modeling and Acting. She served in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed the experience of living in Italy and traveling abroad. Throughout all of her experiences, the one she loved most was becoming a wife and the mother of three children, Siona, Kobe and Gerald-Andre. The joy of motherhood brought about a vision for writing children’s stories that are about her very own. She finds pleasure in sharing her imagination with the world.
