About the Book

The title, “Life Must Be Heard” is a collection of poetry seen through the eyes of a woman being in the military and traveling around the world. While experiencing different emotions either dealing with people or the surroundings around her. This poetry book is filled with real life poetry that will touch your heart, bring tears to your eyes, and make you laugh out loud but, every poem you read in this book is truly why “Life Must Be Heard.”

About the Author

Mrs. Marilyn D. Priester is retired military (United States Army) whom served in Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. She lives in Prince George, Virginia with her husband (retired military) Mr. Ray V. Priester and their pet boxer named Emanuel. With the support of a loving husband and family they inspired her to continue doing something she enjoyed with a great passion which is writing poetry. Following her heart Marilyn never knew that one day her poems would be published for everyone else to enjoy.
