The illustrations help the reader enjoy the material and hopefully may create an interest in song birds and perching birds or bird watching. The author highly recommends the reader to sit, observe and take notes of the various types of birds seen and their songs or calls. Many are unique and some species can imitate other birds. About the Author
The author is retired after 20 years miltary service in the U.S. Air Force and the 20 years as a Corrections Offcier with PA Dept. of Corrections. His travels have taken him to numerous countries in Europe and the Far East. His hobbies include writing, traveling, bird watching, gardening, and winemaking. As a reader of non-fiction, he likes surfing on the internt to expand his knowledge and present his views on various topics in short stories. Although he has taken some college courses at different locations, he’s never completed requirement for a degree. He enjoys music and musicals and his latest interest is in oil painting.
