About the Author
Barbaralee Ross has taught as a high school English and Humanities teacher for twenty-foiur years. She has been a grant administrator at the NYC Bd of Ed for five years. Ms Ross taught for one year at New York University. She received a BA in Education from New York University, a MA scholarship and fellowship from New York University in Linguistics and a MA from Hunter College in Supervision and Administration.In 1979 she received the NYC High School Teacher of English Award and in 1980 Outstanding Educator Award from Chicago University.She has edited textbooks on special education, written poetry and lectured from Florida to Washington D.C. on women's studies.She has been a docent for the Bass Museum in Florida and lead docent before retiring.She teaches Study Groups for Brandeis University National Committee
