Benny and Babe is a sports story about a young man “Benny” who lacks confidence in himself. He desperately needs to believe in himself. A very unique friend “Babe” meets Benny and teaches him the power in believing. Benny had all the ability and talent to be a good pitcher but in his own mind he just did not think that he could do it. We all at time in life lack confidence to be successful, but there are people out there in your life that will help you garner that success. They are your teachers, parents, coaches, grandparents and good friends. They are out there, you must find them. Benny believed in himself and the rest as they say is history. Benny and Babe is more than a good sports story. It is a real lesson in life…

About the Author

Tom Cole the author has coached high school and college football for 25 years . He also played quarterback at Ohio Wesleyan University. He also has done TV Sports Broadcasting with BCSN for eight years and Sports Radio at an ESPN affiliate and Fox sports affiliate for eight years . He is married to Karen wife of 36 years daughter Christy and son Clayton and two grandchildren Josie and Cole. The author has written a sports story for young kids that addresses the themes of confidence , team work and friendship and thinking of others before yourself.
